You may recall previous references to the hideous salmon pink ceramic tiles. Our plan was to cover these with rubber or vinyl but, after laying this 'Ardex K15' floor levelling compound, we are thinking to simply seal this with epoxy and leave it. Looking more minimal already, and such a relief to not have to look at the tiles.
Check it out!! K15 plus two coats of sealer and we are in hipster heaven. Tiles begone!
Hi there! I see this is an older post but wanted to ask about your Ardex floors. How are they holding up? When you poured it, did you have to hurry and do the whole floor at once (as best as you could mixing up each batch)? I am entertaining this idea for my kitchen which is a concrete subfloor (we tore out old linoleum several years ago). What was the process, did you have to sand and do multiple coats? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! THanks!
